According to a recent news release, the US Golf Manufacturers
Anti-Counterfeiting Working Group announced that a preliminary
injunction has been issued by the Southern District Court of Florida to
shut down 62 websites where counterfeit clubs were sold.

Last week, I played in the Tournament of Flowers at Dalat Palace GC and
it was my first trip to see the old girl in many years. The practice
round on Friday was enjoyable with almost clear skies, which means, take
off the sweater. When clouds came over, it was sweater on.

Playing golf in Da Lat is different than anywhere
else in Southeast Asia because of the terrific year-round weather, but
more importantly, because the clubs can use "bent grass" on the greens
which, as true golfers know, is the best putting surface in the world,
bar none.

Well, the world is touting the return of Tiger Woods
after his win at the Chevron tournament. Yes, the golf writers of the
world are popping the champagne corks and celebrating the thought that
their life will be easy again. All they have to do is mention the word
“Tiger” in their stories and the world will read it. Life is good again.

One local golfer casually mentioned that she sprays her entire body with SPF100 sunscreen before getting dressed for every round of golf. While amusing, I must be fair and agree she has the most blemish-free face I have ever seen. Her face is magazine cover quality.

Given his results in Australia, it looks like Tiger Woods is on his way back into contention as a dangerous force. This is a great thing for the golf writers worldwide who no longer have to learn difficult names such as "Lodewicus Theodorus ‘Louis' Oosthuizen", or to actually research other players. They can go back to gushing about Tiger ad nauseum in every article and collect a healthy paycheck.

Well, it looks like John Daly did it again. Previously known for monstrously long drives, then for bizarre behaviour, Daly keeps people entertained with his antics, as well as his Loud Mouth Golf wardrobe. Getting into hot water seems to be rigor de jour for Big John.

Once again, the powers that be decided to make a few changes to the Rules of Golf in an effort to make the game more enjoyable and understandable. Sadly, the Rules are often written in such a way as to make understanding a bit murky to those who don't own aDecisions on the Rules of Golf book.
