Flood-threatened households relocated

DONG THAP — About 29 households have been moved after a 300-metre crack was discovered in the dyke along the Tien River, Long Thuan Commune, Hong Ngu District in southern Dong Thap Province.

Local authorities have arranged temporary accommodation and mobilised nearly 200 soldiers to help them move their properties.

Landslides have occurred in the commune during and after flood season.-VNS
