West Lake's water to be kept clean

HA NOI — A waste water treatment station will begin construction this year in Tay Ho District's Nhat Tan Ward to restore and improve the water quality of West Lake, Ha Noi People's Committee has announced.

The station, located in area of more than 16,000 sq.m, is worth about VND600 billion (US$31 million).

It would handle 15,000 cu.m of waste water daily thanks to using the biological activated sludge method. Construction is scheduled to finish in the next two years._VNS
