Special consumption tax exemption set

HA NOI — Commodities for export, including those sold to processing-exporting enterprises, will be exempt from special consumption tax, according to a circular issued recently by the Ministry of Finance.

To be eligible for exemption, firms must have sale or outsourcing contracts with foreign businesses, invoices of export or delivery, customs declaration papers for export or payment receipts from banks.-VNS
