HCM City offers Tet support to migrants
More than 1,500 bus tickets have been given to workers at the Linh Trung 1 Export Processing Zone in Thu Duc District as part of HCM City's efforts to support migrant workers with free or cheap transportation for the Tet (Lunar New Year) Festival.
Dozens of inter-provincial bus routes at reasonable prices will be pressed into service so that workers are able to celebrate the most important Vietnamese holiday with their families in their hometowns. Shopping programmes and entertainment activities will be launched next week to serve workers who are unable to return home for the holidays.
