NA Party Committee prepares for Congress

HA NOI — The Party committee for the National Assembly's office must continue to guide Party cadres and members in carrying out their tasks well to help build a socialist state of the people, by the people and for the people.

This was one of the four main tasks NA Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong asked the committee to carry out in preparation for the 11th Party congress next year.

Trong asked the committee to take drastic measures to boost the building of the Party. He also asked it to educate Party members in political thought and improve working methods.

The committee must be aware of opportunities, challenges, advantages and disadvantages the Party could face in the next five years so that it could plan ahead, he added.

And it must continue assisting the NA in improving the quality of legislative activities. This entailed supervising and making decisions on important issues affecting the nation.

The committee was also asked to step up the campaign to study and follow the late President Ho Chi Minh's moral example.

Trong praised the committee for carrying out its political tasks which, he said, had actively contributed to the efficiency of the National Assembly. — VNS
